Shipping policy

In short

Shipping is free across India. No minimum order. Every product. We ship the fastest courier we can route to your address — at our cost.

Every object is made to order, so the timeline has two parts: production, then transit.

1. Where we ship

Pan-India. We do not ship internationally at this time.

2. Free shipping

Free across India. No minimum order value. Every product. There is no shipping tier to choose at checkout — we ship by the fastest courier available to your pin code, and we pay.

3. Handling time — when we dispatch

Each object is made to order. Production takes 7 to 10 working days from order confirmation. The object is dispatched as soon as it is ready. You receive a tracking link by email at dispatch.

4. Transit time — when it reaches you

After dispatch:

  • Metros and Tier-1 cities: 2–4 working days.
  • Tier-2 cities and smaller towns: 4–7 working days.
  • Remote pin codes: 7–10 working days.

5. Total time, order to delivery

Typically 9 to 17 working days, depending on the address. These are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by the courier, by force majeure (weather, strikes, political disruption, pandemic-related restrictions), or by an incorrect address.

6. Address accuracy

Please give a complete address with a working mobile number. Orders returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete can be re-shipped, but the re-shipping cost is yours.

7. At delivery

If you can, inspect the package before you sign. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, refuse the delivery or sign as received in damaged condition — this strengthens any claim.

If you cannot inspect at the doorstep, photograph the package and the object within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made later are harder to honour because courier dispute windows have closed.

8. Failed delivery

Couriers usually attempt delivery up to three times. If all attempts fail, the package returns to us. We will write to you to arrange a re-ship or process a refund.

9. Tracking

You receive a tracking link by email at dispatch. If you do not receive one within the production window, write to studio@vrittadesign.in.
